A woman was attacked by three dogs on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, while visiting a patient, who she is receiving care responsibilities.

Working for the Peninsula Health, care workers who had just entered the home of a patient who suffered a stroke recently, when suddenly being attacked by three dogs Mastiff hybrid.

"I heard the dogs barking and went out, thinking that only a war between us, I did not realize that they are attacking someone." Neighbors told 7 News.

The woman had multiple deep bites on her face, upper body and ankles. She was taken to Frankston Hospital in a stable condition and had surgery on Thursday afternoon.

Reportedly, these dogs have attacked both of them all when people try to pull them away from the woman. He was taken to hospital with some minor injuries.

Neighbors said the dogs were disturbing many times before.
Three dogs were detained immediately after the attack, but does not yet know the fate of them will turn out.

Residents in the area said the dogs were causing trouble in the area some time ago. Andy Jones said one of them jumped over the fence of the house last month and killed his dog, Gypsy.

Skeats Melissa said she was forced to raise the height of the fence for fear they will find their way into his home and attacked her son.

"It's a concern, everyday I watch the backyard, make sure that the son was fine and normal dogs."

Currently the police and Mornington Peninsula Shire Council is investigating the incident.
